Welcome Newtown Cardiology Patients!

Mercer Bucks Cardiology is pleased to announce that as of October 1st, 2021, Dr. Richard Leshner and Dr. Richard Kass have joined our practice. The providers and staff of MBC extend a warm welcome to them, as well as to you, their patients. Dr. Leshner and Dr. Kass will continue to provide the exceptional service you expect, now backed by the service and support of Mercer Bucks Cardiology and Capital Health System.

Below is a letter from Dr. Kass and Dr. Leshner:

Dear Patients, Friends, and Families,

It gives us great pleasure to let you know that we will be moving our office to a new location and affiliating with Mercer Bucks Cardiology and the Capital Health System.

As of October 1, 2021, we will be seeing patients at the Capital Health medical office at 1690 Big Oak Road in Yardley (near the intersection with Oxford Valley Road). Our phone number will remain the same; 215-750-6657. Sharon and Theresa will still be with us to provide the kind of personal connection that you have known as well.

We will still be seeing our patients at St. Mary Hospital. We may need to reschedule some of our office hours, but we will not do so without offering you reasonable options. We will continue to supervise and review testing, but we will help schedule and arrange most testing at the main offices of Mercer Bucks Cardiology at 104 Pheasant Run, Suite 128, in Newtown (near the NAC).

This move offers a number of advantages for us and for you. It provides us with greater flexibility in covering the hospital and office with additional backup when we are not immediately available. It gives us access to a new electronic health record that can be used to more efficiently review records and communicate with you or your other health care providers. It gives us more direct access to cardiovascular subspecialists in electrophysiology and structural heart disease for their expertise. It gives us the support of a growing hospital system that values its physicians and staff.

We consider it a great privilege that you have trusted us to care for you and your loved ones. We fully intend to continue to live up to that high standard of personal care, which you have come to know and expect from us. We hope that you will continue to allow us that privilege as we make this transition.
